Founder, Avaana Capital
Anjali is the founding partner of Avaana Climate Fund, one of India’s leading climate-tech investment platforms. She served as Non-Executive Chairperson of Dena Bank (a Government of India appointment) and was formerly a Global Partner and Managing Director at TPG Growth. She has served as a Board Director at Tata Power (where she chairs the Sustainability Committee), Nestlé India, Piramal Enterprises, Siemens, and Voltas, and is the President of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce. She was a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Co. in New York.
Co-Founder, Nexus Venture Partners
Sandeep co-founded Nexus Venture Partners, one of India’s most successful early-stage venture capital firms with over $1.5 billion in assets under management. He is a Senior Advisor at the Gates Foundation Strategic Investment Fund and previously held a senior role at McKinsey & Co. His portfolio includes Delhivery, Snapdeal, Postman, PubMatic, and Druva. He serves on the Board of Titan Company (Tata Group) and holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford and an MBA (with Distinction) from Wharton.
Evam’s leadership team brings over five decades of combined experience in financial services, spanning structured finance, credit risk, capital markets, and NBFC operations.
Co-Founder & CEO
Vamsi leads Evam’s strategy, risk management, and governance frameworks. With over 20 years of experience in financial services and climate infrastructure, he has held leadership roles at HSBC, Standard Chartered, L&T Finance, and IDFC Bank. He is a Chartered Accountant, Cost and Management Accountant, and holds an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi.
Co-Founder & CBO
Kannan oversees Evam’s client relationships, credit structuring, and syndication strategies. He brings 19 years of experience in structured finance and capital markets, with previous roles at Deloitte, Axis Bank, IDFC Bank, Piramal Finance, Yes Bank, and Coral Capital. He holds a B.E. and an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi.
Co-Founder & CFO
Sunil manages Evam’s fundraising, co-lending partnerships, and treasury operations. With over 15 years in NBFC operations, he has previously held roles at Edelweiss, Hero FinCorp, AFL, and Western Capital. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a B.Com.
